Last month, we ran a competition for an entrepreneur to win a day-long discovery session with our tech team. Well done to Mark, whose VLOG project has come out on top.
At our eighth Design/Build/Market meetup last month, we were joined by over 40 founders, designers, developers, marketers and tech professionals at the Engine Shed.
Questions were answered, insights shared, connections made and lots of nibbles eaten. Seventeen founders entered our competition to win a discovery workshop and a specialist review of your product or idea – choosing a winner was tough.
Mark’s project stood out to us because of his well thought-out proposition and strong belief in his idea.
His concept centres around a streamlined video blogging process, where the user can write a script, record, edit, add graphics, find hashtags and share at the optimal time – all from a single app.
Mark hopes his VLOG app will help aspiring and established vloggers ‘create more content and worry less about the distribution’.
‘I’m delighted to have won the competition to work with CookiesHQ.
Video is an important medium that is going to become more relevant in years to come.’
– Mark Loveridge, VLOG founder
We’ll be helping Mark assess his project plan in its entirety, ensuring that questions about objectives, user experience, design and technology are covered. We’ll then write up our findings in a report that Mark can use to make informed decisions around his startup’s tech.
Didn’t win?
To say thank you for taking the time to apply, we’re offering everyone who entered this competition a free ticket to our next D/B/M event.
There’s no need to do anything – we’ll get in touch with you when we announce our next theme in a few weeks’ time.
If you’re still interested in arranging a workshop session with our technical team, please get in touch today. If you go on to partner with us, you won’t pay a penny towards the cost of the workshop or report.
